Michael Barnett is an accomplished investor and executive with a career that bridges real estate and global financial services. He has built a diverse portfolio across multifamily, single-family, and land investments, while also serving in senior leadership roles at international firms where he specialized in growth strategy, complex financial structuring, and scaling high-performing teams.

Drawing on this dual background, Michael brings institutional-level financial discipline and operational expertise to Altamar. His ability to evaluate opportunities, structure transactions, and manage capital at scale complements the firm’s investment strategy and positions Altamar to execute with both precision and vision.

Michael earned his MBA in Finance and Global Business from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Utah.

At Altamar, he focuses on applying his financial and leadership expertise to build a scalable platform that consistently creates long-term real estate value.

Ryan Rich is an experienced real estate investor and operator with deep expertise in acquisitions, deal structuring, portfolio management and investor relations. He draws on a career that spans private equity, real estate operations, and the scaling of high-growth organizations, including building and leading teams through multiple successful business exits.

Prior to co-founding Altamar Group, Ryan spent more than a decade in executive roles where he specialized in building and scaling organizations, honing a skill set that translates directly into growing and managing diverse real estate portfolios. His background in private equity and acquisitions provides a foundation for disciplined deal-making and value creation

Previously, Ryan spent several years at a global private equity firm, where he focused on real estate private equity transactions and portfolio strategy. He concentrated on sourcing, underwriting, and managing residential, commercial and mixed-use properties. These roles gave him hands-on experience in value-add repositioning, ground-up development, and programmatic joint ventures alongside high-performing local operators across the US. 

Ryan earned his MBA with an emphasis in real estate and finance from UCLA and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brigham Young University.

Brian Bladen brings more than two decades of real estate investing and operating experience to Altamar Group. Since 2008, he has completed over 1,000 residential flips nationwide, returning tens of millions of dollars to investors. His career spans the full spectrum of real estate strategies, from single-family renovations and buy-and-hold investments to larger-scale developments, manufactured housing communities, and mixed-use assets.

In addition to acquisitions and development, Brian has managed operating businesses tied to real estate investments, giving him a unique perspective on value creation beyond the property itself. His ability to identify, execute, and manage projects across asset classes makes him a critical driver of Altamar’s diversified investment approach.

Brian holds a BA in Economics from the University of Utah.
